Police and coastguard personnel were called to Blackpool’s coastline this morning after reports of a person in the sea.

The incident was logged at 5.42am today (June 12) with reports of one individual in the Irish Sea near Central Pier.

HM Coastguard from Fleetwood were readied to support the emergency response to the call before Blackpool Police confirmed they had found a ‘very wet’ person walking from the beach sea.
