Firefighters were called to a suspected gas leak incident in Blackpool.

One crew from South Shore attended the scene on Thirsk Grove in Blackpool at around 10.45pm on Monday, June 7.

Firefighters went inside the property to investigate before Cadent Gas engineers capped the supply.

Four people were assessed by paramedics from North West Ambulance Service.

The fire crew used a gas monitor during the incident to make the area safe and returned back to the station after around 90 minutes.
