An Italian pizzeria inside a former church in Blackpool has been getting rave review for its ‘delicious’ food and ‘welcoming’ service’.

Pizza Grazie on Bolton Street just yards from the seafront has became the neighbourhood restaurant everyone is talking about.

Alongside traditional Neopolitan-style pizza, there’s also extensive pasta, dessert, side, specials and vegan-only menus.

Then on top of the food, the restaurant, which is a registered charity and opens as a soup kitchen twice a week, has been commended for its support of the community, by also running a ‘pay it forward’ scheme for local homeless people.

Diners have taken to TripAdvisor and Facebook in their droves to shout about their positive experience at the eatery, which has transformed the former Alexandra United Reformed Church with colourful interior and exterior decor and lighting.

On TripAdvisor, it is ranked as number four out of 449 restaurants in the seaside town and has a five-star rating on Facebook, scoring highly on everything from cleanliness to value for money.

In their online review, Kimmy22222, described the food as “deliciously scrumptious” and the service “lovely and friendly”.
