The comedian was wearing a hat and a checked shirt – a reoccurring theme in his visits in 2015, 2016 and 2021
Peter Kay paid a visit to Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
The comedian was spotted at the theme park on Thursday (August 26) – five years after his last visit.
A spokesperson for Blackpool Pleasure Beach said: “It was great to have Peter Kay join us yesterday and true to style he wore one of his Blackpool Pleasure Beach shirts!”
This comes after Peter took to the stage earlier this month for two charity shows in aid of Lancashire woman Laura Nuttall.
The comedian, who has been largely absent from the public eye for the last three years, appeared at the O2 Apollo in Manchester for the Doing it for Laura gigs.
Laura Nuttall, 20, has an aggressive type of brain cancer called glioblastoma multiforme.
Laura’s mum, Nicola Nuttall, told LancsLive that the entire experience had been somewhat “surreal.”
“We were lucky enough to go to both shows and it was amazing, it was fantastic,” said the 58-year-old.
“Peter is just so funny, he makes you laugh until your face aches, he’s a real gentleman too, he’s very generous with his time.
“It’s just so surreal, when we were driving back in the car it was like: ‘Did that just happen?’
“It was a Peter Kay comeback show done for Laura, it meant everything to us, it was so special.
“I can’t quite believe that it happened, that everyone was there and that everyone knew my daughter’s name.
“People wanted selfies with her and she was getting papped through the car door; that’s not something we expected.”
