A “fault caused by a cannabis farm” left 195 homes without power yesterday.
Residents in Westmorland Avenue were left without electricity after a cannabis farm caused a fault with an underground cable at around 10.20am.
A photo shared by police revealed engineers had to dig up a pavement in order to access the faulty cable.
“Cannabis farms are dangerous and can cost lives.”
