Two restaurants from Lancashire are among the top 100 in the UK, according to booking website OpenTable.

It aims to offer “a selection of spots across the country that constantly serve up creative dishes, unparalleled hospitality, and one-of-a-kind dining experiences for all occasions.”

This year, two Blackpool eateries were named among the best in the UK, including the award-winning Michael Wan’s Mandarin and Michael Wan’s Wok Inn.

Mandarin, on Clifton Street, is rated 4.5 stars on OpenTable, with it’s top review saying: “Absolutely superb. We have be dying to go for a while and was not disappointed.

“Really nice to have a good authentic Chinese restaurant around that knows how to cook.”

Wok Inn, based on the Promenade, also has a 4.5 star rating, with one reviewer writing: “A firm favourite for us! Incredible food, great value, attentive staff and family friendly!”
